Sunplus SPHE8202D chip found in Tevion DVD player

This Sunplus decoding chip type SPHE8202D was found inside
    a Tevion DVD player.

Sunplus headquarters is based in Taiwan, but the chip was
    manufactured in China.

The Tevion Dvd player, model TEV1020, was purchased at an ALDI
    store in 2007.

The DVD player failed in 2009, when it refused to power up.

An 'autopsy' carried out on a workbench revealed that resistor
R1 in the power supply had overheated and burnt out.

Prior to the 100% failure, the Tevion DVD player had performed
    satisfactorily.

Original Holden Commodore design had 4 round headlights

Original Holden Commodore design had 4 round headlights

This photo, taken at GMH in 1978, shows that the original design for

the new Holden Commodore included 4 round headlights.

The round headlights were rejected by a group of Holden buyers as

being "unsuitable for the 1980's", so the 4 round headlights were

    replaced by 2 rectangular headlights.
